Does anyone know of any Breast Cancer Sites that help people understand and cope with Breast Cancer also has ?

anybody heard of organizations that will help people pay for all the procedures that go along with Breast Cancer if they dont have any insurance?

Thank You :)

I’m sorry I can’t help with the money question, but two sites that were a tremendous help to me when I was diagnosed and going through treatment were

http://www.breastcancercare.org.uk

They have loads of information, especially the first one, and they have forums where you can talk to other people who are going through or have been through the same experience.

Breast Cancer Campaign?

Hi,

I’m going to create a cause marketing campaign. I decided to do one for breast cancer. Does anyone know a good title for this campaign? I’ve thought of using a facial creme to team up with a nonprofit organization dedicated to breast cancer. I thought of creating a new line of facial cremes with different scents and having the logo of the nonprofit on the labels. 10% of sales will be donated to the organization. What do you think?

Thank You

You are very welcome to use any ideas on website Having Fun After Cancer www.after-cancer.com.

Or perhaps you might like to focus on the side effects of hormonal drugs (the ‘cinderella’ of breast cancer care) and tie in your cremes with the need for good skincare when you are on these drugs.

And good luck with fund raising.

Describe the pysiology of breast cancer and what factors can affect its development?

Basically my nan has breast cancer and I haven’t got a clue. All i really wanna know is what the causes could be or are, how its stops the body from working normally and what makes it worse?

Please help :(

Apart from being female and getting older (80% of people diagnosed are over 50), which are the two greatest risks, the possible risk factors are:

Genetic; but only 5-10% of breast cancer cases are due to hereditary factors.

Having children at an older age or not at all. The more children a woman has may also slightly lower her risk. Breast-feeding
