How do I start a cancer foundation? I’ve looked around online and I keep finding different answers.?
Some sites say you need a lawyer, others say you need a lot of money to start one and then of course there’s the sites that just keep talking about tax write offs. I just want the basic idea behind the foundation. Is it possible for a normal/average everyday person to start one?
It will cost you some money to get started but you have to write and fill out forms to get it registered if you want it to be deductible for donors if you plan to have others donate too.
After you have a non profit the ongoing cost will be pretty high, you need an audit every year and have to file forms.
Getting enough money in your foundation to help people or find any cures is going to be very hard and rather

Cancer spreads by 1) Directly like roots of the tree whre it is ,inside the tissues. 2) by blood to various organs of the body 3) by lymphatic spread. The organs which are commonly affected are lungs, liver, bones , brain etc- called metastasis. It is not an infection.

Sounds encouraging. But one should remember that two patients are not enough to assess the overall efficacy of this new treatment. In recent years specific antibody therapy (various “mabs”) have demonstrated efficacy in several types of cancer. Lets hope that this will also be the case with prostate cancer.
