How Do You Know If Your Skin Cancer Is Potentially Fatal?
Technically speaking, all skin cancer is potentially lethal if not treated. However, there are more serious forms of the condition, though they are a lot rarer.
Mycosis Fungoides
Mycosis Fungoides is an extremely rare form of skin cancer and it tends to affect twice as many men as it does women. Many people assume that it is an innocent fungal infection when they first hear the name; however it is in fact a much more sinister condition which is a type of cutaneous T cell Lymphoma.
Generally a cutaneous T-cell lymphoma is an uncontrollable growth within the skin of the T cells within the body. Whilst most people do not notice any change to their daily life once they do have Mycosis Fungoides, it still does need to be treated as soon as possible.
Who Mycosis Fungoides affects the Most and what causes it:
Mycosis Fungoides seems to affect black skinned people more than fair

Lymph node cancer or lymphoma is a cancer that accounts for approximately five percent of all cancers. It predominantly effects males but is not exclusive to men. Those most at risk are between the ages of fifteen and thirty four and those over the age of fifty-four. This does not mean that anyone outside of this age range is not at risk but statistically it does seem to fall inside those age groups at a greater rate. Like all other cancers, early detection and treatment is the key to a greater chance of recovery.
Hodgkins Disease is a form of lymph node cancer but is rare in its occurrence. It also statistically effects mostly men between the ages of fifteen and thirty-four and men over the age of fifty-four but is not exclusive to men only. Some of the most common symptoms of Hodgkins Disease are night sweats, unexplained wight loss, constant

Astellas Pharma U.S., Inc, manufacturer of Protopic (tacrolimus), is now facing several lawsuits that the drug may cause cancer. Protopic has been on the market for the last five years as a topical medication for eczema. Since its launch, both Protopic and similar drug Elidel (pimecrolimus) have been prescribed to 7.5 million people, including children. Elidel is manufactered by Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. Both Protopic and Elidel were marketed as effective and safe drugs for people with moderate eczema. After all, both these drugs are steroid free and have been considered as suitable alternatives to corticosteroids (traditionally the method of treatment for eczema).
Protopic, and similarly Elidel, can control the symptoms of eczema that includes redness, itching and inflammation. They can be used in almost all parts of the body including the neck and facial area. The recommended use of these creams were about twice a day for six weeks or

A cancer that starts in lymphatic tissue is Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The lymph nodes and related organs that are part of the body’s immune and blood-forming systems are contained to lymphatic tissue. The lymph nodes are small and can be found underneath the skin in the neck, underarm, and groin. They can be founded in other places in the body such as inside the chest, abdomen, and pelvis.
Lymph nodes make and store infection-fighting white blood cells, called lymphocytes that are connected throughout the body by lymph vessels. A colorless, watery fluid (lymphatic fluid) that contains lymphocytes is carried by lymph vessels. Into the blood vessels in the left upper chest is emptied the lymphatic fluid.
The spleen, the bone marrow and the thymus are other components of the lymphatic system. An organ in the left side of the upper abdomen that is composed primarily of mature and immature lymphocytes is the spleen

I’m running my very first marathon in January as a member of Team N Training. Not only have I committed to running 26.2 miles, I’m also raising $3,700 for Leukemia & lymphoma research and treatment. Both goals have been life-changing and I recommend anyone join Team N Training. I do need ideas to get me to my goal. So far I’ve raised $1,650 through yard sales, a dog wash, a happy hour and hitting up everyone I know. I just moved to Chicago and it’s tough to plan events in a new city. Thanks for your ideas.

The easiest thing to do is go to local buisinesses, for example large chain restaurants and ask them for a donation form. Most restaurants are aloted a donation budget each month but you do have to go through their corporate offices. Fill out the donation form and send it in.
