I am caretaker for a cancer patient whose husband abandoned her in Florida. Can I sue him for doing his job?

It can be said that I didn’t have to take care of her, but she had no one else. So I moved from out of state to be here for her. Something I would not have done had he taken on his responsibility.
Not a matter of doing the job then asking to be compensated. It’s merely a matter of sticking it to the deadbeat for what he did to her.

No. You have done the right thing because you are a good person. If it wasn’t for you your friend would be left in the hands of state agencies.

That is all there is for you to do, knowing that you are a good person!
