How many breast cancer survivors are there? Including my own family, which is about 4 women in my family.?

I really just want to know how many have survived.
and i would appreciate no stupid remarks about my family too.

I am a 4 year survivor. I am not sure what your question is. They call it survivor. It is just a term to mean you are still alive. You never know what the future holds, even if you don’t get breast cancer. So to me survivor is just a cutesy title. Put it more realistically…breast cancer, the surgery, the chemo and its lasting emotional effects…I am not sure it is so much surviving as just barely living. To me anyway, I don’t see anything to brag about how many years. People want to fire you because a history of cancer increases the health insurance rates for their company and so they do and they give you another reason and you can’t do anything about it. So maybe I survived only to later contemplate suicide. Sorry, but I am feeling crappy today.
