Good post! I was in …
Good post! I was in so much agony I was avoiding going to toilet at all. I had a colonoscopy which showed me to be clear of any cancer/IBS/IBD/..but the doctor then left me to deal with the problem alone. So I started to eat alot more roughage: branflakes, stir fried vegetables in olive oil, boiled brocolli, overcooked rice, fruit, no meat and less coffee but drink at least 2 litres of water a day. Plus daily swimming and walking…3 days have gone and the pain has decreased dramatically!

    Hemorrhoid symptoms …
Hemorrhoid symptoms are caused by blood vessels in the anal area that are swollen and/or ruptured. There are many causes but one of the biggest is constipation ( no BM for more than 3 days). Your diet can certainly contribute to this. If you strain when you go, you could be putting too much pressure on the veins. Be sure to consult with a doctor for a proper diagnosis if you think you have them.

yeah well, it made me think. As a child i did not enjoy meat, but 6 kids, you ate what mom cooked. From 17-27 I was vegetarian. I married a bully at 27- who ragged so hard, i caved – but not for long. then up till i was 33, vegan. Met 2nd(lol) husband, same bullshit, i ate some seafood.but stayed toward vegan. 10 years now, back to vegetarian. ( kid is 10 ) now you DO HAVE ME THINKING RAW!! these comments can be all confusing and i too right fast or wrong. sorry.

‘i asked you ?’s and you give me this. Thanks for making me feel like shit’

I’m sorry. I misread your question as I was rushing. I didn’t realize you were the same person as the one posting the good questions. I just read the first couple sentences of the one post in which you said you were vegetarian most of your life.. and that you ate a little meat.’
While rushing I thought you typed ‘you were vegetarian your whole life yet ate meat..’
That’s my fault, sometimes I rush to respond.

A true vegetarian would eat none…
A vegetarian benefits from extended months as a vegan…

okay, i have been a vegetarian most my life, and before i had a child at 36, i ate little meat. and since hardly any, and now have reverted back to vegan, and plan to stay that way, happily. So as a guess? how are my chances? I have had a total hystorectomy, and get mammos’ once a year thanks!

    ‘does having …
‘does having hemmorhoids from a birth cause cancer?’
Cancer is usually caused by repeatitive DNA mutation exposure, not a single instance. When cancer promoters outweight anticarcinogens, cancer develops. Isolated carcinogen exposure is likely to not promote cancer. After birth the resilient body can recover without being overwhelmed by toxicity. But giving birth alone doesn’t cause hemorrhoids, the birth is a precipitating cause. Consuming meat/refined grains, etc before birth increases risk.
